The feel I get from this is "lost and abandoned". Maybe its because of the excellent shadows you've captured here. The sharpness of the leaves and the rich color also help to accentuate the shadows, which is think is the central part of this photo. Well seen.

I love this one also, as the composition is just spot on.
I love the layers of the leaves, and it has been beautifully captured by you. |

| I'm glad you didn't submit to the challenge - there were too many to grade as it was ;-) and also this nice image would have been lost in a sea of green leaves. This is very nicely composed and the focus is so crisp. The colour is extremely pleasing. |
