I really liked the color of this rock face surrounded by all the greenery, unfortunately the bush in the lower right is a bit bright and detracts from the contrast. Possibly should have made everything in focus? Thought having the branches slightly blurred would narrow the focus of the image, but may look sloppy.

The branches doa nice job framing this, but the subject in the middle is not really compelling. Need a stronger focal point.

This meets the challenge, but what is the focal point?

You've got a nice frame and background and the quality of the shot is fairly good. You are lacking a subject however.

Your subjects just don't really capture anything. You are looking through the branches to catch the side of a rock.

Don't excactly know why this isn't a 'WOW' photo. Maybe it's because it somehow doesn't show 'depth', for and background seem to blend (if that's the right word), or maybe it's because the green isn't too sharp. 6

I think the framing is too much of the picture. The subject matter being framed is not interesting enought to over power the foreground.

Naturally framed, but the subject (rock face I assume) seems kinda boring to me personally.
