 shot from the basement during a four day rain. my brother's daughter was standing just outside the basement door.

This is going to get dq'ed because not only the selective desaturation but also the bluring that you did.

Nice composition. PLeasing focus. I only might have removed the rain hood so as to see more of her hair.

Love the photo. Would prefer it to be all B&W (no a big fan of selective color). Not sure that's even allowed in basic editing (?) but voting as if it were. ;)

I've a feeling you'll get dqd for the selective desaturation...but what a wonderful shot...I hope you get through...I'd suggest you get this validated if it's not a selective desat
