maybe it was a downcast day, but image could use some contrast to sharpen it a bit. :o)

I'm sorry but I don't get how this fits in the Tools challenge.

There is potential here for a great shot. The problem is, I don't really have a good idea where the focus is. The DOF makes me feel like I have candels growing in front of the mountain. In addition the mountain needs different lighting. Shooting either earlier or later in the day would gine you some dramatic light and color to emphasize the peak in the background. Keep shooting!

Very nice concept. I know this is hard to photograph, since your subject is darker than your background. Flash would have not been possible either due to the window glass. If you intented silluettes, than you should have overexposed it little further to boost the mountain and sky colours and make the cross and candles totally black. If silluette was not your intent, than underexposure for the shadows would have been better. I hope I am making sense.

i get the interpretation...i just hope others do as well. nice job. the only thing i might say is try cropping out the window sill at the bottom - you might have to raise the candle with a book under it or something to compensate but i think visually i would like to see it w/ out the dark bottom. cool pic.

For me, this doesn't fit the challenge.
