 Alternate shot and crop of my "Beatles" entry. In addition to curves, levels, and hue/sat, I used selective color (I think it is) to color correct the whites and neutrals.

These birds with their wide open mouths are really cool. Good timing that you were able to get them when they all had their mouths open at the same time.

Well. . . I didn't think your challenge entry could be improved on, but you in fact did it: Added even a little more pop and impact! I love how you can see their little feathers all sharp and crisp. This is such a great photo! I can't believe how great a photo it is!
