A very good idea, but the execution leaves a tad to be desired.

I am assuming that this is the images of soon to be parents, but find that the cropping has cut off some very important elements. My humble opinion is that you would have been better served to incorporate the extremities of all of the hands, and perhaps gone a tad lower to show the area below the navel.

Perhaps a side view or one showing more definition of the contour of the lady might have been in order, but that is a personal preference.

Lastly, I would strongly suggest that you retry this photograph with different lighting sources as I find the lighting in some areas to be particularly harsh.

I do hope you will consider my opinions as being constructive.

I have to agree with the belly button crop. It doesn't work for me. Overall, I like the shot, but the crop needs to be pulled back just a hair.

I like the idea.. but something doesnt quite work for me... maybe its the belly button being cut in half... on my monitor the area above her left hand is completely blown... I like the creative way you placed their arms and hands, the toning is nice too...

My first reaction was that something didn't seem quite right, but wasn't sure what. After looking a bit, I think it's that the man's arm, being darker, stands out most so my eye tends to go back to it, and the true subject fades into lesser focus. I LOVE the idea, though, and the type of processing :)
