In looking at your "Show me your portraits!" thread, this is the photo that really stands out for me as a great portrait. It just seems so natural, relaxed and honest. I think in some of your portraits you are trying too hard to be creative and different, and the photos come out looking a little more staged or posed. No doubt this portrait is very much posed, but you don't get that feeling when you look at it - you just see a beautiful young woman looking straight through you into her future. The soft lighting, wonderful skin tones and colors are perfect.

I like this one best. The lighting is really good, and her pose too. Not so sure about the vignetting, though. |
