Nice image... definitely hearkens back to another era! Composition and placement of the sextant works pretty well for me, but the lighting (yellow cast) is just a bit too much for the shot, in my opinion. Focus on the stopwatch seems a bit soft, as well. --7

Great shot. Stop watch is slightly out of focus. I am not trying to be smart, but aren't these very much still in use for navigation today despite GPS?

I think the intention was good but there are some things that are keeping me from rating it higher: 1. Color balance is off (I know all we could do was resize), 2. A bit out of focus, 3. I would have cropped the left side a bit (Again, I know we could only resize). If those were allowed/performed, I would have given you a higher score.

I like the subject except for the more modern stopwatch.....maybe an older style pocket watch would have complemented this image better. 7

this would have been really cool if you used the map from edge-to-edge as a background and somehow got rid of the yellow cast that's going on.
