I see what you mean.
Due to brigthness of LCD screens or variations because of the calibrations on the screens, we can't control the output of any image when it is total dark backgrounds such as this one.
The light reflects at the fold of the black background, creating a ligther line. If you see it on your monitor, because your monitor calibration is very different then mine. This is normal.
on my CRT monitor, this shot shows much less that line, when I print this image at any lab or at my home printer, the print comes out as I see on my monitor as well. I see much less that line.

On my monitor I see a lightness that follows just above the body from the waist down to the far right. Also a similar lightness just to the left of her head. I didn’t know if it was intentional to show an edge? Still think it’s an excellent picture. :-) |
