Thanks for all the great comments folks.
This was a long climb up the hill from my house, down in the valley (behind me).
Just noticed this made image #3 in the highest rated with this lens!

Nice take on the challenge, but the shot needs something to really make it pop. Perhaps if your sky weren't so bald headed...

| Whilst it's perfectly fitting for the challenge, the main problem this image suffers from is the simple quality of light when you took it. It's clearly country accustomed to intense heat, but that very over-head sun doesn't do anything to really illuminate this landscape - it simply makes it visible. At a later time of day, the more sloping light would cast shadows on those contours that would make the shapes of the landscape more understandable in a photograph - it's a shadows that enable us to determine the shapes of things, and in this light, there are none. |

NOTE.... I'm looking at the image first and tyrying to guess the title. If I can't guess, I can't give high marks :-(
I always think of a little country rtoad for this song, not a huge dua carriageway
but do like this one |
