Challenge: Beatles Song/Lyrics (Advanced Editing IV*)
Camera: Kodak C300
Location: Trenton, Ontario, Canada
Date: May 27, 2006
Galleries: Portraiture, Self Portrait
Date Uploaded: May 28, 2006

I spent a good 3 hours just looking through the Beatles anthology. I REALLY wanted to do Octopus's Garden but well, I don't have an octopus. Then i wanted to do Lucy in The Sky With Diamonds, but I don't have a studio, or a decent amount of spakley things(diamonds). Then I thought i could take a romantic picture of a couple.. but as I've noticed, I'm not the only 15 year old having trouble finding models.

I finally settled on Tomorrow Never Knows. (it's supposed to be a person that doesn't ever know...)

Recorded: EMI Studios, London, 6 April 1966
Producer: George Martin
Engineer: Geoff Emerick
Album: Revolver (their 7th album)

My computer with all my photo editing software is screwed up so i couldn't really do anything at all. I'll probably get chewed up for the lack of focus and i would've liked to do something with that background but i really wanted to submit.

Focus seems a bit soft unless that was what you were trying to do

I think that name is spelled Tamara - it might make a cute pun that way (Tamara Never Knows), though it might go right past some viewers.

Cute idea but the photo itself isn't very sharp

Great concept. My only suggestions, are that she should be more in focus. The whole picture has a slightly blurry look to it. Try focusing on the eyes, it's the main focal point when shooting pictures of people. Also, the light on her arm is harsh. Try bringing your light up and lighting from the top, or pull your subject further away from the backlight. Hope this helps :)
