I love the "formality" of this shot. Everything squared-off and at right angles except the small arch over the window. The muted tones are great, too, especially the red on the bottom of the door.
I like doors...there's always something going on behind them, something we're not privy too. And they often give clues as to the character of those living beyond them.
There's lots going on here - the bricked up window, the red metal - look as if it's taken a beating,the pipe work. The subdued colours are indeed industrial. Nicely observed;)
Great photo, I really like this. The composition is really cool, it's so clean and simple but with lots of interest. The color tones are great as well.
