Photographer’s Notes
• Not much of a story to tell here. I left the house with 3-4 errands to run and the old song “Rainy Days and Mondays” running through my head. Maybe because it was a rainy dark day, although a Tuesday. I tossed the camera bag in the trunk “in case” and did my errands. I then shot perhaps 20 shots in 4 or 5 different locations.
• On my way home I passed a park I’d passed a thousand times before and this old preserved school entrance caught my eye. Light was interesting. And all of a sudden the phrase “No Child Left Behind” popped into my head. There were NO children, left behind or not. Thus a masterpiece was born. Or not. You be the judge.

What's this? A little sarcasm? HAH! Great idea and execution. Rich colors and an interesting composition.

Enigmatic yet appropriate image for yet another George W. failed legacy.
