Your colors and texture in this image are superb. I like how you've taken a very simple subject and presented it in a clear and uncluttered manner... I need to work on that myself.

I don't think a knife could break that way in that position, but your photo looks nice.

Great composition and near-flawless lighting. I do find the bright light at the bottom left of the squash-thingy a little distracting. This one fits into the challenge nicely. Nice image overall.

I'd prefer to see the knife broken at the handle which is what would really happen, surely?!! A bit too contrived for me

Cool but not very convincing, this just feels a bit sterile like it is, would have been much cooler if there was a hand holding the handle with some motion blur or whatever, not having this set up like it is. Nice job on the lighting and good idea, gave it a 7.
