::: Critique Club :::

Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.

First Impression - the most important one:
Very ole worldy. kinda a cool concept.

Composition:
A little more cropping on the right would have moved the little girl into the thirds line nicely and not detracted from the shot. The hill creates a lovely leading line for the eye to follow.

Subject:
Well the title meets the challenge ... but i am not sure the picture could stand on its own.

Technical (Colour and light):
lovely sepia tonings and natural light. The picture is a little soft focus on the kids though.

To grow its vote?:
There are a couple of things ... crop tightly on the kids to include less of the shed but have it peeking at the right of the shot ... this would have created a focus on the kids and their holding of the bible.

Also think about how the shot stands without the title itself.

Summary:
Good shot .. and lovely image well done.

If you've got any questions about this critique, please feel free to contact me via
the PM system.

Cheers

Kari

This is a lovely image but rather title dependent for it's link to success. Still one of my top scoring images in the challenge though.

Perhaps a little more wide-angle would have given better result.
