Congratulations on your top 20 finish. Such a funny capture.

If the focus hadn't let this down a little, would have been a ribbon for sure, great capture nevertheless.

definately top ten material. 9 from me (a bit less shaky would have made the 10)

Great idea - this made me chuckle! Good composition and dof. I wish the overall focus were a bit sharper though - this would have been absolutely tops if it was tack sharp.

This shot is perfect but I cannot give it a 10 since I don't think it fits the challenge of 'Failure' enough. Great work though!

Nice composition and lovely colours. But uh, could be sharper..

This sould be a hands-down winner if it were fully crisp and focused. That truly is a big shame, because with a macro it's essential. This is a fantastic choice of subject though and it's well composed so far that you deserve credit.

Excellent focus and great depth of field, but I only get a small sense of failure from this one. You captured great detail and a very interesting subject. I also like the composition as the stalk provide a terrific leading line.

Wonderful damselfly, but I see failure only in your title.

I nearly fell off my chair when I opened this photo... it hit my funny bone hard! Failure to hide lol... with those eyes, for sure... I am adding this to my favourites - on a more serious side, the sdof works well...... nice crisp focus on the green stalk the the wee beastie is clinging to... the little bug is a tad soft but it works - bumping up

Love it! Not that great a shot really, in a lot of ways, but this is screamingly funny in concept and the execution is competent enough to get a high score from me. Good job!

I like the photo, but am not sure if it is spot-on with the theme of "failure".
