I had a brainwave to visit a "Glass Blowing" factory, to take images for the "Heat" Challenge. I was Blown away with the amazing results, and will be posting my outakes after the challenge, into my portfolio.

This image which I have called "Flaming Glass", is taken in the raw format. The glass artist added her decorative touches to the sculptural vase, and then used blow torches before going back into the furnace many times.

What an awesome shot - the colors are mezmorizing...

I bet your trip to the glass blowing factory was really interesting!

I really love the way the color evolves from the blue to the orange, and the way that the piece looks like it is being eaten by the flames.

Nice photograph. The white shirt at the top is minorly distracting, but all in all a great image. 8

This is a beautiful art and great capture of it. Still very complicated and the picture isn't clear enough to make it brilliant.

Very nice. I had a similar thought but couldn't get close to a glass blower facility. I used to know of one when I lived in Canada that I could go to anytime but have no idea where to find them here in Norway. 8 points

it certainly looks hot!
but the focus isn't.
it seems off.
Maybe because of the heat?
either way, it detracts from what otherwise looks very interesting.
