me...obviously !
didn't do much to this. tweaked the levels,hue/saturation,brightness up a touch, dodged the eyes and key a wee bit, slight neatimage, slight crop, slight sharpening....actually that seems quite a lot in retrospect.
first challenge entry in weeks, despite the big shadow under my nose I'm pleased with it.

This has a subdued appeal to it, I think. However, since it is advanced editing, I would have softened the light glare that is on the tip of the nose, as it is distracting in the otherwise low light.

nice---tighter crop would have worked better---a different lighting pattern would eliminate the heavy shadow on the neck

I like how this is muted. I think that it would be more effective if you weren't staring into the camera, say looking off to the left instead.

That's crazy...I can't tell if you are about to laugh or cry. That's quite a penetrating look. Nice job.

The dark, low-key treatment creates a very sand mood. If that was your intention, you did it well.

This seems just a tad dark on my screen. Nice composition.

Lighting is incredible as is thecomp. I like the use of negative space and subtle contrast.

Almost went right by this, I guess because it is low key and understated by comparison with some of the more strident shots. Happily, I looked a for second longer and realised how good, how well conceived and executed, it actually is. Its impact steadily grows with each moment's consideration, which is exactly the opposite of most of those more attention-seeking shots. It's a lovely, enduring portrait. 8.

Nice. I'd crop so you only see skin. Great lighting. 7
