Sorry but in my opinion the subject lacks interest and is too centrally positioned in the shot.

Ahhh....that looks like something I'd have in my yard! Great picture! :)

The negative space is supposed to be the "wow" of the photo in this challenge but the grass doesn't show that to me.

Too much detail and texture in the grass for me to see this as negative space. Composition seems a bit dull. Colours aren't saturated too well. 2

Negative space should have a purpose. This is negative space for the sake of the challenge.

I see that you have chosen grass as your space, but take a look for yourself. Does the grass make that ornament WOW? and then ask yourself why.

I think that the grass if firstly too distracting. Perhaps you could have used a wider aperture to blur out the grass. And secondly, the colour of the grass if fairly similar to the shades on the stone and therefore not much contrast. Personally, I'd have liked to see you choose a different background. =)

Also, it would have been nice to see the ornament in the middle of the image =)

This would be more effective to me if it weren't so much in the center of the crop.

too centered?

Nice and inviting! Thanks, I do feel welcome! Try fiddling with more contrasts--darker darks, for instance to make the image pop.
