Great stop motion on the water at his feet! Very nice composition and lighting. It might have more of a portrait feel if the model were making eye contact with the camera a bit more. I love the backdrop of this environment!

Too much noise. Tighter crop might have helped. This seems to be taken from distance and then cropped.

I like his expression it looks like he's just had his last wave. Like the composition and how you've done a tight crop on the board. The splash of water really adds to this.

Definitely meets the challenge - I really like the splash in the foreground... the expression on the model's face connects with the title..would have liked his face to be in crisper focus (in other words a greater DOF) I love surfing shots but this one doesn't have the wow factor that would place it high in scoring. A 6 from me

I like this but it is a candid. If he were looking AT you and knew he was being photographed that would put it more in the portrait genre for me.
