Two images was used with the background set at a lower opacity and then masked out the areas that overlapped with the foreground subject. I also used gradient map, curves and hue/saturation to tweak colors and tones.

great job!! I read one of the earlier comments saying the hand is halo'd.... maybe you can spot blur it and give another sense of fluidity and movement to this image...

their faces are beautiful and intense in their joy of the dance

Beautiful end product here. I really like the colors and I think the back photo, with the facial expression, "makes" this composition.

I wish this was a double exposure. Would have made life more easy if I was able to capture it that way. This was just a collage I created from a live event performance.

So what did you do? Is it a double exposure? It has a very fluid look to it. I actually like the transparency of the background image better than the foreground image, though they do work together to make a nice pleasing composition.

This is a pretty neat composite, very nice use of the front figure to frame the second picture int he background. I think maybe you could make the background face just a bit smaller, and crop off the left to add to what you've don here already. nice work.

This is a very nice photo. But look like you have some halo arond her face and hands and I would like to se the hand more frozen
