Leaf is a little bright--it steals some focus from your lovely butterfly, which shows some very nice detail. I love the darker background--it sets off the insect admirably!

the challenge says to use the surrounding space of your subject to create the wow of the photograph. the subject itself creates the wow in this photo.

The leaf is overblown, and the negative space doesn't contribute much.

The lighting is a bit harsh - lots of reflections on the leaves that I find a bit distracting. I also think the negative space would be more dramatic if the angle placed the butterfly more against the dark background.
