A beautiful scene, well captured. I think a human element would have provided a stronger challenge connection- someone in a white robe or reaching skyward maybe. I can allllllmost kinda sorta envision the tree as reaching skyward, but it's a bit of a strech. I really think you need a human touch to evoke the spirituality here.

I get the idea here, and I'm all for thinking outside the box, but...

I feel like this challenge called for a certain reverence, which this photo does not give to the topic. The only thing making this a holy place is your title.

The title says Devotion in the Desert. The picture says desert. It's a nice picture.

Beautiful scenery, seems a little too centered, the photo just seems cut in two with the sky on top and land on bottom, I would prefer to see the rule of thirds used here.

Great shot, really beautiful. Maybe you took it too easy to fit the challenge with a "I make up this holy place" shot, which of course any place can be in the eyes of anyone.... so, hard to discuss I guess, of course. But still. hmmm... ?
