Giant considering the size of the Heron's throat

Edit: Just want to tahnk everyone who left comments on this heron and the other shots of him as well... I think a different crop would work to strengthed the composition and welcome feedback of all kinds.

I know this shot is very "busy" but the business occurs right where the action is, lots of exciting water highlights and reflections. Admittedly, it makes it a little difficult to tell what's going on at first but ultimately it makes the picture more exciting and interesting. It feels more like an urban candid than a nature shot!

wow - great capture! Exposure and DOF are right on. The crop seems just a tad tight for a bird. Maybe have more space on one side? The bottom space is perfect and captures a nice full reflection.
