oh that wall makes me sad, but the composition and the faded people are very nice and the dull purple helps create a mood in this photo.

Great night shot, great subject. More often then not, when I see photos of the wall they are close ups of the names. This shot captures the size of memorial, puts some perspective to it.

I love the ghostly images of the people in this. Good time choice for this, I think it's much stronger being night (or evening?).

This is the mood that I remember from my visit to Washington. Places like this feel so special in such light.

His holiness the god of war. I can't help thinking that natural lighting would have suited this better (but it would have been very difficult to get the picture at the right time, etc.)

Good choice with longer exposure, beacuse of the blurred "ghost looking" people.

Image is a bit dark. Is that ghostly figures I see? A good idea, but if the image were a bit brighter we'd be able to see them better.
