 Interesting looking duck at a local park. I thought he looked rather proud of himself while posing in a classic profile position. I zoomed all the way in with the 100-300 (420mm equiv on 35mm) I was worried about hand holding the lens at this focal length, but it worked out OK.

Nothing, there were several ducks that looked just like this one. I think it is a breed trait.

The highlights in the beak seem a little blown out here. But, otherwise a very good image.

ewwwwwwwwww I hate vultures and I am thinking that is what this is... no hair on their head so they can rummage around inside of dead things.. having said that , thisis a fantastic photo - great bg, well lit - crisp focussed... just creeps me out :)
