Found this spider making a home inside this brilliantly colorful rose. (Yes, the color saturation really was so strong.)

I really think you needed to have the point of focus on the spider for this to work. Great colours.

composition well done. Slight softness of the petals works very well. For me, if the depth of field were a little larger, bringing the spider into better focus, it would be a better image. I know - almost an impossibility in the situation you have here. Maybe if he was a little darker - not sure - but the rose vastly outweighs him visually so he doesn't really hold my attention.

The spider looks like he has made a nice home. Good Capture

Did you try focusing on the spider as well? I'm not sure what would work better... nice spot anyway :)

Interesting capture. I wish you could have gotten the spider in better focus. Still a lovely image.

how yo udon't see that very often...and since it's not your basic snapshot of a rose or any flower for that matter...you do have a purpose...I give you a 9

I see the Spider, but I think the soft focus takes away from the image.

Very intresting and nicely captured. My only complaint is that the spider is lost in the depth of field that you used. Beautiful colors and nice exposure.

This would be a very cool shot if it was real sharp. Maybe you needed a tripod?
