Very interesting, about the pink colour cast, which I had not realised at the time.

This was due to a red sweater, I had been wearing, at the time I shot this......reflection was enough to give a light pink colour cast!
I'll be more careful next time, and wear something lighter, or stand back more.

Hello from the Critique Club

My first impression was that this shot had a twinge of pink to it. I
though it might be my monitor, but I noticed that you had a few comments
about this as well. Do you by chance use those GE Reveal light bulbs?
(Do they even sell them in Australia?) I've found in some of my shots,
that those lights cause a similar pink cast. I very much like how the
green stems provide a burst of color. It works well against the white
background.

A few people mentioned that they did not like seeing the vase. I think
it would have worked better if there were slightly more of it showing.
The closest edge of the vase is sitting on the bottom of the frame.
This causes some subtle tension in this shot. Allowing the eye to
follow the vase down, just enough to get a feel for the shape, would
have helped with this.

Congrats on this being your highest scoring entry so far!

Great spearationi of whites. They came a wee bit magenta on my monitor, but that's minor. I'd like to see a bit more of the vase.

This is beautiful! I wish it had a dark background to give it pop.

I think that this would be better if the pink cast was removed.

I'm not sure the white background works

I like the idea of this but think I'd like it better if it were just the single bloom on the right. Not crazy about seeing the vase. I think I'd do a selective color adjustment and get rid of the magenta and red in the white tones - particularly the background - it gets pinker to the right and is a bit distracting.
