I think the lens flare brings added drama. Under-appreciated shot. Nice work.

Very nice. I like the sun spots. The skyline in the back really adds to this one. A sense of what they are defending. Well done.

Interesting use of lens flare...I think it adds the right kind of impact to the photo. It might be a bit too much as it begins to overpower the lovely silhouette. Skyline being uneven adds a minor distraction...wonder if this was taken a little more to the left and slightly lower if the shapes would have been better separated....

Very nice. The sun is a bit too much for me... I'd like it toned down just a tad more. That's just me tho.

Many people frown solar flares in photos, I personally like them when used properly as you did here. Infact without them you don't have anywhere as great of a photo. Anyways, a very long, drug out way of saying very cool photo!
