Especially for photojournalism, the contrast is too sharp and too much of the photo is overexposed.

I'm trying to see how a better image might have been made which includes an onlooker and the statue. Hard for me to know - but you might have been able to get a photo with more concentrated interest.

Interesting photo. Seems like your eye leads to the cameraman and guy in black but they seem soft focused. Also, sky highlights seem blown out. 4
