I'm not sure that such a very narrow depth of focus was put it it's best use here. You really lost a lot of the pattern, though maybe that's what you were going for. i like that you have repetition in the twists of the screws as well as the fact that you have more than one screw lined up creating another depth of rhythm

That's some pretty shallow DOF. Very nice composition and color tones, I can see that I underrated this the first time through. Nicely done!

I like these minimal pictures, but they're a bit sort of ... well, I suppose they have to be lacking something or they wouldn't be minimal, but the so what? bell rings here.
