This shot was taken when my camera was brand new and I didn't know anything about photoshop. Years ago I had my own darkroom set up and printed B&W. I use to enjoy giving them a little zing by applying hand colouring. I thought I might try the same digitally. I found out how to convert a coloured image to B&W and then used brushes to apply colour. Was quite happy with the results. I then found out you could do a similar thing by using the history brush. Ah well - we live and learn.
