It seems calm, almost peaceful, i guess that newspaper would have to shoot it a a more action way (angle?)

I would have liked this better if it hadn't been cropped so tight, so I could see or get a feel of a neighborhood.

how to improve: in post processing with lowering exposure compensation, when taking shot get close as you can, i really helps the photo

Quite interesting. I've spent a great deal of time looking at it and trying to figure out how an explosion did this without breaking the glass and leaving char marks. I like the image, and it definitely meets the challenge. Good job. I'll check the image description afterwards for the story.

The aftermath of an explosion after the fire has been put out is completely serene. Almost not newsworthy. I remember walking down a street with my father when I was 6 or so and seeing a house blow up in front of us. That is the moment for such a photo.
