I simply love this shot. The colors of this object? work well together. - 8

Very trippy.

An almost abstrract, but it looks like a *major* crop out of a photo. The pixelation is extremely noticeable and is really going to hurt you here. I'm not sure if it's because of a huge crop, or some problem in your save method for DPC, but after the challenge, I'd like to hear about what you did here, and see if we can't find out why the pixelation is so bad.

Nice subtle texture. Very painterly.
04/29/2006 09:11:55 AM
too pixelated
04/29/2006 07:49:21 AM
quite pixelated. may have cropped the original photo too tight.

Too much enlarged or jpeg artifacts. Single pixles visible as squares. Colors are nice, though.

very odd picture - basically primaries rather than complementary colours

I can see the pixels--either heavily cropped or a filter? I think it works in this case, though. 6

I am sure others have said this but it appears to me to be a very pixillated image. Is this on purpose? (no pun intended)

This is a very interesting shot. I'm very curious to how it was done as it looks very much like a photo of an air brush painting. The coloring is excelent but there is some "showing" pixelazation (real word?).

Sharper please
04/27/2006 05:54:57 AM
heavy pixelation and its just a photo of an existing, well, "artwork" it ain't...

2 - Pixelation issues, but I think you are likely going to be dq'd for literal artwork with this.

Serious issues with pixelation and compression. You need to work on resizing at a better compression.

I'm interested to know what this is. It looks like a photo of a picture. The colors are definitely complementary but the harsh pixelation of the photo hurts it quite a bit.
04/26/2006 05:34:45 PM
Hummmmm....not sure about this one. Looks very pixlelated to me. You do have a good representation of complementary colors.
04/26/2006 07:56:01 AM
Image is pixelated - cropped too much? 3
04/26/2006 05:05:05 AM
I am sure you'll get a few comments about how poor the resolution is on this...it's not very good at all and it doesn't really answer the challenge
