I like the photo…would like it more if his shirt didn’t have writing on it. As for meeting the challenge I don’t think it does…the window is more the background than the frame. Like I said for a normal photo it not all that bad…if you can deal with the noise which I really don’t mind that much. I think your low score definitely suffered from the window not framing your subject.
the nosie here adds a film grain quolity that most digitlers don't use cause they don't...lol (i could get mean but i won't) anyhow i like the affect and i like the old look of film and the set of this shot it all blends nicly and it all has a nice light quolity to it too. well done and GL
While not a bad idea, I thnk this one is more window-lit than window framed. I like his expression and the grainy feel to the image. I'd like to see the rest of that left foot, as chopping it off leads the viewer's eyes right out of the frame.
Including what is outside the window would have made this score much higher, IMO. As is your window is framing blown highlights, which isn't good for this particular challenge. If you couldn't spot meter the window area, getting the exposure from a gray card would have helped or finding that 18% gray equivalent on the subject, which would have been around his legs (not in the brightest spots).
