I totally Rikki'd this shot :-P

Spent quite a while working on the background and reshooting the photo. The background is the Rikki trick (my computer monitor). The glowing globe in the glass is a photo of the earth adjusted to look orange. I put a gradient from black to white along the right side of the image to color balance after the shoot. This will be the first time I tried this technique. Will probably be the last too. Just had to try it . I must admit it was kinda fun. It made me think of my composition before I even took my camera out of the bag.

After the challenge
Can't complain about the socre. I know nudity in open challenges doesn't do well.

Also, the photo has a glaring technical flaws - the monitor magnification in the glass.

Dude, I hope this doesn't disappoint you, but this is probably one of the best nudes you have posted here.

I love the softness in the shadow edges... Very beautiful.

Gradients aren't allowed in Basic Editing, are they?

The nude does not help this, IMO.

Definitely one of the most interesting ones this challenge (thank god, we have some creativity!). Nicely done, although I think your yellow looks a tad orange, but it doesn't make that much of a difference here, I think. I like this a lot.

nice, too bad you can see the computer screen...

Can't figure out how this was done. The rings in the glass are very distracting.

This photo and the subject doesn't appeal to me really, and there is too much blue.

neat girl ... but the glass does nothing for the image (or is it the other way around)

I'm not sure what to look at; the tits or the glass??? A good photo is one where the subject is clearly defined and contains no distractions, among other things. Had you painted her nipples orange, and taken the glass out of there then you would have one awesome image.4

4 - Colors work quite well together here, but not sure they together are the dominant aspect of this shot. The blue toning works well, but the picture used, is possibly controversial re the 'literal artwork' rule, etc. Unusual refraction in the glass. Overall, not my taste/style.

Well, this is interesting to say the least. I'm not sure if I like the rings in the glass as it just tells me that you're magnifying a computer screen or television monitor. Still interesting though.

This is a shot that is hard to pull of a good score on the DPC,but I think it is very well done. It is what they say out of the box. Good luck.

Nice background, the appearance of the colors in the cup remind me of part of the end of of 2001 space odyssey. The lump at the top of the cup is a nice touch. 8
