Taken today with my little ole P & S. This area is just so beautiful, but you need to look closely to see it. Nature bursts through the obstacles man has put around it. There's garbage and big concrete slabs all around these waterfalls. I just like to pretend they're not there.

Very good at masking out the distracting garbage. I do the same thing. I think that your image was fairly well composed, and I know you tried to slow down the water by using a slower shutter. It did cause the water to be overexposed. I finally got a neutral density filter for my camera, and now I can get those soft water shots without any exposure problems. If you can't attach a screw in variety, sometimes just getting one and holding it in front of the camera lens is all you need to do. Another trick on getting macros with a point and shoot is buying a magnifying glass and using it on the subject you are trying to get. That works pretty well too.
