I little overcooked for my taste, but really cool idea. |

WAY too dark for me to vote fairly on it. |

????????? - What is this? |

I am not seeing very much detail on my screen. Perhaps a slitghtly longer exposure time would help add some more detail. The title suggests that you were going for a 'glow' look. Perhaps a uniform gaussian blur would provide such a glow? |

many would go directly for the too dark comment ...
but you need to let your eyes focus to find a very haunting image here ... very well done |

Couldn't really work this one out. Had to move the laptop monitor around before I could see anything but black. Not sure that it really works for me. |

Nice, but I bet that a lot of people with uncalibrated monitors are missing it. |

I know this is a negative challenge, but I'm wanting a larger tonal range from highlights to low lights. I like the classic subject/pose. |

Hmmm, if you were going for an effect, it didn't quite make it. Just way, way too dark, overall. Sorry |

Interesting idea and nice painterly feel. However, I'm not fond of the grainyness of the hair. Also, I think you could have made the lightest parts lighter using curves (not levels). This would have added contrast without loosing the overall low-key effect. |

The original was a lovely image, and this could have been... |

On my monitor (which is calibrated), this is too dark to make out any detail at all. |

Wow, monitor calibration is probably hammering you. I can only see the image at a sideways look on the monitor. |

Uh-oh. . .I hope its just my monitor (which is much darker here at work than my home monitor), but all I see is black. No photo. I'll check this again when I get home. |

Did you really think anyone was going to take this entry seriously? |

You may get comments that it is too dark. I've been adjusting my monitor brightness for the voting in this competition,(so I see the glow) but I figure it may not occur to many to do so. |

Maybe it's just my screen that's too dark (I'm at my office) but all I can see is black with a slighly lighter than dark blob in the top half. Oh wait... I turned off my lights and I can now see the silhouette of a woman... It could still have been brighter but I'll give it a 7 for creativity. |
