 I had no time to work on this challenge, so I used my friend's clock to predict the state of the world (and the clock) around the time this challenge closes. Since I'm always a procrastinator, I figured I'd set it to 12:03 instead of 12:01 ....

Also, since the clock is not currently running, I expect I have a relatively good chance of a "correct" prediction.

I REALLY wish I'd had more than one day's notice to think about this challenge, but I was traveling and offline when it was announced.

Incandescent and onboard flash lighting. Made some tone/color adjustments, touched up a few specks on the wall. Oval marquee feathered twice at 16 pixels, radial blur (zoom) applied twice with setting of 44. USM 66%/0.6 dia/7 levels. JPEG setting = 7/10 (PS 5.0/PC)

An interesting shot, no question - good lighting and well composed, but does not have the impact that I would like to see with this challenge.
