Your score sure doesn't reflect the quality of this image. I love the idea!

Well, a nicely done shot Cindi. You have been around long enough to know that voters don't do well with abstract. "old idea" certainly is abstract, especially when it was "new" a month ago and won a ribbon. I guess we check our sense of humor at the door on this site. Technicals are done very well and the fractal pattern is quite crazy. it lacks the color oomph of rikki's, but that would have made it seem even less old.

I've started calling the narrow minded on the site "knuckleheads". It somehow makes me feel better. On this picture, the knuckleheads beat you down.

Cindi,

I like to think of myself as a thoughtful and refelctive voter who takes his time to figure out the artist's intended relation to the challenge before I deduct points for DNMC.

That said, I never would have gotten this without the other comments, and even your hint in Doc's thread.

I get it now, and it is, indeed, great, but I probably would have given you a 5 if I had voted on this one.

Heh, but now that I do get it... I keep chuckling to myself. :)

Edit: Me == retard. Read the title, stoopid. Still good work though!

Yes, a really worn out theme. Nice effect though.

Oh my! Could it be???? Am I just seeing another of these shots? Deja Vu perhaps? A pun or a tribute ;) Hehehehehe. This is definitely an old idea. Something that might not be used for a looong time. I hope your image is doing well although some folks might not see this as being "old".

Is it, yes, I think it is, I think I know the style and the composition well enough to beleive I know who it is..... Another great image here. Simple, but also very refreshing.....My only concerns is the wine glasses, as they definately don't look old, but still a great image all the same.
