Ouch, this could be nice, except there is too much cropping and too much artifacting.

This may be intentionally oof, if so, I can't sort out why.

satisfies the challenge but post processing is a little overdone.

To my eye this looks over sharpened. I like the texture you were trying to bring out but IMO you went a little too far. Colors are nice. Composition's fine.

Image appears very noisy and outof focus.

I don't really like the lighting, it's too bright. It's washing out a lot of the color.

Better focus and cropping out the lower left corner where focus is the weakest would have scored this higher for me 5

Nothing appears to be in true focus and looks over sharpened to try and compensate.

I think there is too much processing. It almost looks like it was taken of a flower on TV.

The composition here is great but I think this may be well oversharpened or something - there seems to be a huge amount of noise.

I've seen a lot of plants and trees... Yes, they meet the challenge, but where is the creativity... It's the image that stands out from the rest that wins me over.

Lighting is too hrash and the bug looks to be over sharpened.
