| The colors are vibrant and the bokey is lovely, but it looks a bit overexposed to me and I'm not entirely fond of the centered composition. |

| This looks like a respectable attempt at a macro, but the shot (I feel) doesn't quite succeed. The focus on the main part of the flower (which feels like the center of attention) is weak; the dead-center framing doesn't really add anything, and, in fact, takes away from appeal; the pinks in the background distract from the very strong pink of the subject; it just doesn't stand a "winner." As I said, it looks to be a sincere, commendable try, but it falls short of "stellar." |
