Focus looks too soft!

Nice composition. Just a few things to note - 1) the crease in the background needs to go, and 2) the image has a nice soft feeling to it, but the eyes need to be much sharper. Overall nice image. Good luck!

It is a little bit soft and the background is too close (the crases and folds draw to much attention). Increase the distance between subject and background to create better out of focus blur.
I like the diagonal flow of the compostion and to some extent how the light falls. But this is very en profil, would like to see the other part of the face more, even if it only included the slightest hint of the 2nd eye.

Just a little to soft IMHO and the creases in the cloth at the back are distracting.

a beatutiful image of a beautiful girl - but it's out of focus. that really is the only problem here.

Just a little too soft for me. The eyes and lips should be more in focus.

Nice shot, I think this one would have been a little better if it were more in focus. It seems to be just a little too blury.

seems a little out of focus.
the background canvas is not uniform - distracting.

Her posture is definitively not flattering. Another point - if you wanted a softer image, then you should have focused in front of her, not behind her. This way your backdrop shows all imperfections instead of being even more blurry than her face.
Good attempt though.

i dont know if you did it on purpose for the photo to be blurry if so you got it. personnally im not a fan of the blurry stuff.

Too bad this is out of focus, that and some better lighting and you would have had one heck of a good shot, I like her expression. This with a dark or even black backround and some soft lighting that would leave smooth shadows over her face would have been ace. You´ll get there.

This photo lacks focus on the model's face and the background should be more blurred. placing the model further from the background could help and a use of smaller aperture setting if possible.. The position of the model is ok.

The focus is too soft:-( But, the lighting is nice and so is the composition.

I'm sorry to say it's out of focus. I think the most important thing in a portraitphoto is that the eyes are sharp.

It's out of focus, too bad, because it's a very nice pose.

Valerie is beautiful, but this shot is quite blurry...had this been sharp around the eyes, it would do fantastic because the colours and pose are great and the composition is wonderful...

The soft focus or slight blurring here doesn't fit well for me.

I like the softness... except around the eyes, it feels like it has gone too soft (potentially, it may have been out of focus). The thing that makes it feel wrong is that her right shoulder (left side of the image) appears to be very sharp, even while her eyes are blurred. So either the camera focused on the wrong location, or the post processing softness wasn't applied across the entire image - in which case, the best place to reduce the softness is in the eyes.
