too centered, skies burnt out, cross to dark...
if this was shot in RAW then expose one copy with the skies correctly lit and another copy with the cross correctly lit, might even do a third copy with the grass correctly lit and put them together in photoshop, this would give a much better image.
even if shot in jpeg you can still do this, just make copies of the picture in different layers and adjust each layer properly.
for a symetry picture the symetry must be 100%, 99% makes the image bad. you were standing about 3-5 feets to far to the right when you shot thit image, there is a small round object visible on the right side of the statue, if you would stand in the center then either the object would be visible on both sides or not visible on either side.
do some work on the image and it might look good, as it is it's not working...
