Hmm. Not sure about the selective desat. I like it in some cases, but here it draws me away from the absolutely adorable girl to the shirt. Yes, I know, that was the point. But man, what a cute kid!

I think the selective desat really works well. It doesn't take away from, and even emphasizes the childs joyous expression. Looking for nitpicks it seems the sharpness in the face is a little too soft. Other than that, excellent photo!

Good composition and use of selective desaturation. The highlights on the feathers are a little blown out. Other than that, nice shot!
