Shot with 2 Alien B400's. One behind chair (no background in this shot), and one high, camera right. Was trying to get a little of the Michelangelo style (but hard to tell on this shot).
Lots of trouble trying to get a 4 year old and 10 week old to pose or even hold still for that matter. Was fun though!! Lot's of funny expressions.

Gorgeous! A coupld of comments--what is the silver thing under the dog's mouth? Shadow is is a little distracting---would have cropped out the limb in the forground
The puppy is as cute as pie.. just totally adorable. If I could see some of the little boy's face this would be an outstanding image. In spite of this this is still high scoring for me because the picture really shouts love and affection. Beautifully captured.
While I love this picture, and the boy's limbs make an interesting intersecting pattern throughout the composition, I think his leg in the lower left is too prominent. Cropping may have helped, even if left with a "corner cut". Beautiful picture though, lovely gentle colour, excellent focus on the pup. Well done.
I think the kid needs more clothes than a pet. I dont like the unknown bodypart in the lower left corner. And the poor dog looks like he is thinking "Wrong dog at the wrong time" ;)
