Overexposed, blown out from the flash, poorly focused, non-exciting subject matter

i don't mean to be rude but this isn't a good photo, it's not clear, and to me it isn't exactly old.... old to you maybe, i guess different people have different perceptions. 2 from me

Well, the idea was good I think. The phone is a little blurry and the flash is a bit harsh.

Blurry

Very snapshottish, sorry. The flash hurts you here, as well. There's also a distracting diagonal line in the upper left corner.

Really hard light and the phone in out of focus.

The flash is too harsh in this shot.

Sorry but I neet to tell you... It seems to be done with a 300KP cell phone camera. Even the most simple DC can do a great job if you stop to think about your picture. Are here great pictures not taken with modern DSLRs, but amazing pictures that one can´t distinguish from the pro´s.
Next time try to use your imagination and take time to play with the light. Even if your camera has limited resources you can make great thing here.
My set of counsels to this picture:
1 - Put the subject at stationary position, a table top, cell support or else.
2 - Rest you camera on a tripod or other fixed surface.
3 -Put your hand behind the phone to get the motion blur or feel sensation like you get here.
4 - Use other light sources, difuse your flash with kidnaps and be creative.
Hope see your next submission!

there is no effort in your shot ,holding the phone does not help ,the flash is bouncing of the buttons .may be if you tryed to have the phone free standing somewhere and with the light on ringing wold make a bit of a difference

lol, this was one of my first ideas, great idea, but i wish it were more in focus

Looks slightly out of focus, would have rather seen this on a solid colored background instead of in hand. With reworking I think you could make a solid image out of this idea.

Image looks to be slightly out of focus
