Man, you got flamed! Whilst I wouldn't call this completely successful, it certainly doesn't deserve these ignorant and thoughtless and plain stupid comments - 'rules' of candids my ****

The blurry hat in the foreground is very distracting

Interesting approach and idea - almost brilliant, if only there were not the conflict of the two visible faces I think: if she were a fraction clearer, more isolated, and the guy behind her more hidden then it would be a moment of genius - as it is, I think it's a shot that's nearly great. The perils of trying to catch the fleeting moment is so often that 'close' just isn't enough: that's what makes the discipline so frustrating, so rewarding.

Too bad you aren't about 6 inches taller. ;^) I take it the lady is the reporter? You did a good job of composing this to get her face positioned as it is in the frame. While this works I can't help but want to see a little more of her.

One of Candid rule says avoid taking pictures of people's back. Facial expressions are vital factor for Candid Photography. Hope it helps.

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

Lots of distraction here. Little focus on the main subject, which I can only assume is the woman in the background from your title. Nice tones, but only a 3 vote for me.
