 Taken in Downcity Providence, outside Nazo Lab studio where my daughter has an internship. I cropped, adjusted the brightness/contrast and levels a tad, then resized. Initially I was attracted to the man's hunched figure and the quality of isolation of this side street . After seeing it on my computer I was pleased to see the coincidental color match of his jacket to the awning. I cropped to place the man a bit more prominently in the frame but still wanted to retain the difference in proportion between the buildings and the lonely figure.

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry in this challenge.

This is just ok. Lots of dead space, which really does very little for me. I see no emotion, no story, nothing unexpected, or any wow factors as a candid shot. It's just ok. A 3 from me.

Great use of blue. I like his off centeredness. The leading line of the curb works with the perpendicular line of the stones around the building creating some neat geometry. Well done! 8
