The wide white border really takes away formthe gorgeous photo. There is also way too much space up top...cropping would have really made the boat stand out a lot more.

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry in this challenge.

I like this shot in that without the rope, he would look like a castaway, stuck in the ocean. I almost long for that in this shot, as I think it would have given the subject of the man more interest. However, more of the interest to me, overall, is on the ocean and the vastness of it then the subject. To me also, the man doesn't look relaxed, but a bit tiffed. That could just be me though. In any case, this is a 5 for me for a candid and in what I prefer to see, which are closer shots with more interest and more kick to them.

What if you adjusted levels or curves to deepen the tones a bit? Nice use of negative space. Good focus. I like the rule of thirds used too. 7

Mmmm very relaxing. Great colors but there is something disturbing about the way you cropped it.
