I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry in this challenge.
I like this shot in that without the rope, he would look like a castaway, stuck in the ocean. I almost long for that in this shot, as I think it would have given the subject of the man more interest. However, more of the interest to me, overall, is on the ocean and the vastness of it then the subject. To me also, the man doesn't look relaxed, but a bit tiffed. That could just be me though. In any case, this is a 5 for me for a candid and in what I prefer to see, which are closer shots with more interest and more kick to them. |
